Q1: Does this clock require batteries and what type?

A: This clock takes 2 AA batteries.

Q2: Can the glass front be removed easilly? I'd like to have my business logo imprinted on the clock and it needs to be done on the inside of the glass

A: No, the glass cannot be removed. The manufacturer did say the the dial is screwed on at the back and you might be able to remove it that way to put your logo on.
