The bed is of complete welded steel frame construction, and is designed with a patient weight capacity of 350 pounds. The head and foot sections can be raised and/or lowered simultaneously or independently with just one hand control. For additional safety and comfort, the motor unit can lower both the head and foot sections with just a single 9 volt battery, in case of a power failure. This bed assembles with just five components, and was designed to meet the requirements of the applicable HCPCS codes. There is a limited two year warranty. Mattress is not included.
